Very disappointing experience at A&J Ramen Spot. I ordered the General Tso’s bento box, and before ordering I specifically asked if the spring roll that comes with the bento contained pork. The server said yes, so I wanted it switched to a vegetable spring roll. Instead of simply substituting it in the bento box, she added a separate order of vegetable spring rolls, which I never asked for. When the bento box arrived, the fried item that came with it contained pork as well. She confirmed that it had pork, so I asked if they could switch it. She went back to the chef and came back saying the chef said no and that they couldn’t do it. What makes this even more frustrating is that I’ve eaten here before and they have made this substitution for me, so saying it couldn’t be done made no sense. The food itself was disappointing too. The General Tso’s chicken was dry, tough, and hard to chew. There was plenty of sauce, but even the sauce tasted dry and didn’t make the chicken any better. I made it clear before ordering that I was trying to avoid pork, but the entire situation was handled poorly. Between the extra order I never asked for, refusing a substitution they’ve done before, and th

UNDOUBTEDLY THE BEST RAMEN AND BOBA SPOT IN OHIO!! Me and my partner have been going back for over a year and a half for this restaurant, we don’t live here and drive 1hr40mins just to go to this place and back home. Never disappoints, and we have been to sooo many other ramen spots in our lives and have tried not only their ramens but their bobas and they could never beat A&J’s. Their broth is literally like no other we have tried and is easily the best and the most unique seasoned ramen out there, not to mention their ingredients being the freshest we have had. Apart from just the ramen, even their boba selections are wide and the most delicious, I’d recommend getting some to try while you’re here. Overall great experience, We also haven’t had a single bad service here, everyone’s really nice and the atmosphere is clean and friendly.

Really, really good food. My daughter and I had the chicken katsu ramen. My wife had the chicken katsu bento box. The broth was perfect. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I am stingy with 5 star ratings and this one was just shy of that. I will be back.

My food was so good! Customer service was amazing. He was very helpful with explaining everything since it was my first time eating there. I will definitely be back! I had the Super fruit to drink with the beef Ramen, add egg and mushroom. Temple shrimp, I did add a little spice to it when I got home!

We walked in and didn’t see anyone except for the cook behind the counter so waited there assuming you order at the counter. He waited 10 minutes before acknowledging us and telling we could sit. Eventually someone came for our order. Was missing toppings but it was corrected. We got a good portion of meat but the broth was cold and not very flavorful. The boba drinks were good as well. Not the worst we have had but definitely not the best. Oh and finding parking nearby was a nightmare. Update Dec 2025: we came back and tried the bentos and a few apps. He got the steak and it was good the meat not overdone but it was cold. I got the curry chicken and it was actually hot but only the temperature I was expecting some spice or anything and it was closer to a gravy or creamy chicken dish. The gyoza appetizer was fried which was unexpected since the menu picture shows steamed and wasn’t that great not a lot of filling or flavor…probably frozen. Other places have better options for same price. The sesame balls were good.
